We discovered Allemandi Tomato Basil Sauce at some point in our culinary adventures, and it's the kind of thing that makes you wonder why you didn't find it sooner. The tomatoes taste like tomatoes, which sounds obvious until you've spent years with the alternative. The basil is there too, doing what basil does best, which is to say it doesn't announce itself but you'd notice immediately if it were gone. We've used it on pizza, on pasta, on things we probably shouldn't have used it on but did anyway.
