Scalloped Coneflower Sympathy Greeting Card
A sympathy card that doesn't presume to know what you're feeling, which is probably for the best. The scalloped coneflowers—illustrated by the House that Lars Built, a group of people who apparently have strong opinions about botanical accuracy—arrive on 100lb heavyweight card stock, the kind of paper that suggests you've put thought into this gesture. At 4.25 by 5.5 inches, it's substantial without being ostentatious. Red Cap Cards printed it in Los Angeles using offset printing and foil stamping, techniques I couldn't explain if my life depended on it, on recycled paper because apparently even sympathy cards have environmental concerns now. The inside is blank, which means you get to do the hard part—finding words that don't sound like they came from a greeting card factory in Ohio.
