Saucer beads have this wonderful way of catching light--or not catching it, depending on the material and your mood that day. This bracelet comes in brass or steel, each with its own personality: one warm and forgiving, the other cool and uncompromising.
The beads themselves are a generous 8mm, which means they actually feel like something on your wrist rather than a whisper of jewelry. At 7 inches with a 2-inch extension, there's enough adjustability that you won't spend twenty minutes trying to fasten it while standing in front of the mirror, cursing softly. The whole thing measures 9 inches total, which is either perfect or slightly too long, depending on your wrist and your tolerance for fidgeting.
It's handmade, which is code for "someone took their time," and you can usually tell the difference.
