This gold-plated hoop earring is basically a choose-your-own-adventure situation, which I appreciate. The thick loop comes with two chains of varying lengths that dangle inside - or don't, if you're feeling minimalist. The ring opens like a clasp, so you can mix and match: wear just the hoop, add both chains, go solo with one chain, or strip it all down to the bare essentials. It's five looks in one, which seems excessive until you realize you're essentially getting five earrings for the price of one. The whole thing hangs about 6 centimeters, and yes, the gold plating has intentional tonal variations because apparently even jewelry deserves a little character. Pair it with its silver or bicolor cousins for asymmetrical magic. Sold individually, because sometimes commitment issues are a feature, not a bug.
