A tenugui featuring a seahorse motif, printed on Izumimomen cotton from the Izumi region. The weave produces a cloth that is soft, highly absorbent, and improves with each wash - qualities that have made tenugui a staple of Japanese daily life for centuries. The seahorse design carries the lighthearted quality that makes tenugui such appealing objects - useful enough to keep at hand, charming enough to display. Measures approximately 33 × 90 cm.
