Why we carry this

A woven shopper/tote made from used cement sacks, an eco bag that is as stylish as it is practical. Empty cement sacks from the construction industry are collected, washed and shredded. The shredded material is then spun into thread, re-dyed & woven into these wonderful totes.

These are bags made from bags! A generous 40 cm x 44 cm/ 15.7'' x 17.32 '' with a 3.5 ''/ 9 cm gusset, perfect for loading up at the Farmers Market or when shopping local. Sturdy webbing handles with a lined webbing top, complete with a magnetic closure ensure the bag is durable & secure.

Topped off by a Jet Black embroidered 'British Colour Standard' label to remind you of all our lovely colours! Wipe Clean Woven in India using this incredible material.

Bird Tapestry

This bird tapestry is a beautiful piece - hand-drawn illustrations transformed into a 70% cotton, 30% silk-blend fabric that's lightweight, airy, and drapes with real elegance. Whether you're wearing it or hanging it on a wall, it has that seasonless quality that just works. The craftsmanship shows in the details. Hand-rolled edges give it a refined, artisanal finish that feels as good as it looks. It arrives in a branded gift box, making it ready to give as a gift or keep for yourself. To care for it properly, hand wash gently in cool water with mild soap, or dry clean for best results. Avoid machine washing, hot water, bleach, and fabric softener - they can damage the silk fibers. Air dry by laying it flat after gently pressing out excess water, then store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. A medium iron will restore its beautiful drape when you're ready to use it again. This bird tapestry is genuinely beautiful - hand-drawn illustrations transformed into a 70% cotton, 30% silk-blend fabric that's lightweight, airy, and drapes with the kind of elegance that makes you wonder why more things aren't made this way. Wear it, hang it on a wall, pretend it's a scarf if you're feeling adventurous. It works. Now, about care. This is silk-blend, which means it's fussy in the way nice things tend to be. Hand wash gently in cool water with mild soap, or take it to a dry cleaner if you prefer to let someone else worry about it. Skip the machine, the hot water, the bleach, the fabric softener or basically anything that sounds efficient. Lay it flat to dry, store it somewhere cool and dark away from sunlight, and when you're ready to use it again, a medium iron will bring back that drape you paid for.
