Zara Bish Pink Rhodolite and Green Grossular Garnet Earrings
These earrings arrived in my life the way most good things do—unexpectedly, and with a certain amount of bewilderment on my part. Pink rhodolite and green grossular garnet, the description said, as if I were supposed to nod knowingly. I didn't. But I wore them anyway.
What I discovered, over the course of several days and one particularly awkward dinner party, is that they're the kind of accessory that makes you feel like you've got your life together, even when you absolutely don't. The stones catch the light in a way that suggests intention. Purpose. The sort of thing a person with a color-coordinated closet might choose on purpose, rather than by accident. They're called the Zara Bish, which is either a name or a sound effect—I'm still not entirely sure.
Either way, they dangle with a certain confidence, the pink and green playing off each other like they've been friends for years. Which, I suppose, they have. Geologically speaking.
If you're the type of person who appreciates a little natural beauty without all the fuss, these are for you. If you're not, well, they might change your mind. They did mine.
